Great day for a ride!
Left the house at 7:15am to meet Todd and John at the mobile station off of Telegraph canyon road. Both of them were waiting. Hopped on the freeway and slabbed it up to the Chevron off of I-5 and the Ortega Hwy (HWY 74).
Met up with Don and Byron at 9:00am (Someone needs to learn how to use his new camera - Need to learn how to "meter" so the pictures aren't so dark!).
Chatted it up for a while and took an "interesting" photo (Under Byron's bike):
It was then time to head out to The Lookout road house, a popular motorcycle hang out that serves breakfast with a great view (of Lake Elsinore)
The Lookout Road House.
This one is for my brother, Lee. Nice VFR!
Dr. Don sure knows how to eat a healthy breakfast!
The guys eating breakfast - (Left to Right) - Todd, Don, Byron and John
John Diego enjoying the view.
Byron telling Don what's up.
On the way back, we took a 30 min siesta in a nice shady parking lot....
I finally found a place on the ST to "safely" hang my helmet! (MCL Hiway Peg!)
All in all, it was a great day for a ride. It did get up to 95F today, but I have to say that the Aerostich Roadcrafter 2-Piece suit worked very well. I was much cooler in it than my previous Tourmaster gear. It's no mesh suit, but it will work fine in 100+ weather this summer (with the vents open.).
Cheers!

Good job on starting a blog. I wanna see pics from your planned summer ride across the west
Nice pics. Always fun to look at biking pics. Love that VFR. Makes me want one so bad.. but can't keep two yet.. so ST for me until then..
The blog took forever to load though.. I think due to the really large images. I usually crop down my images to fit a standard screen when I upload them. Makes it quick to load the site.
Have fun.
